Frequently Asked Questions
Are there any fees in addition to the charter price?
Depending on your desired destination, additional fees may arise (e.g. London City). Our service team will gladly advise you on this. In winter, defrosting costs may arise, which we will include subsequently. If you take out insurance with us when booking, we will see to that for you as well.
How much in advance do I have to book?
If a plane is available, flights can be booked up to approx. two hours before takeoff. However, we recommend booking at least three days in advance to increase the probability of a plane being available.
Does VAT apply?
For flights within Austria, VAT of 10 percent is charged. Flights outside of Austria are not subject to tax.
What are your cancellation conditions?
All cancellations up to 48 hours before takeoff are free of charge, within 48 hours we charge 50 percent and within 24 hours 100 percent of the charter price.
Are the times for takeoff flexible?
You will be able to purchase guaranteed availability and therefore reserve the plane for yourself completely to be flexible for the whole day. Changes by +/- one hour are included in the charter price.
Can I change the time for takeoff as desired?
Changes by +/- one hour are included in the charter price. If more flexibility is required additional changes will apply.

How long before takeoff do I have to be at the airport?
To guarantee comfortable and stress-free handling, we recommend that you be at the airport no later than 20 minutes before takeoff.
What payment types are available?
You can pay for your travel comfortably by money transfer or credit card (VISA, Mastercard, Diners Club and American Express). Please observe that credit card payments are subject to an additional 5 percent fee.
Does GlobeAir apply the same safety provisions as regular airlines?
Generally yes. But it is sufficient for us to know what you want to take on board. Then we can assume responsibility for your luggage and thus spare you the long safety checks and (hand) luggage inspections.
How much luggage can I take along?
Depending on the number of passengers and duration of the flight, every passenger can take an average of approx. 30 kg of luggage. For more precise information, contact our service team.
I fly a lot; Are you offering any special programmes?
We will draw up your personal programme customised to fit your needs exactly. Contact us!
Can animals be transported?
In addition to guide dogs, we will also gladly take along your pet with a maximum weight of 5 kilogram. Please observe that animals have to be transported in a suitable transport box that cannot be provided by GlobeAir.
Will there be catering during the flight?
